You may know Maya Hawke best as Robin Buckley from the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, but Hawke has recently appeared in a variety of projects including Disney/Pixar's hit Inisde Out 2, Netflix's Do Revenge, and the critically acclaimed Maestro. More importantly for the purposes of this particular story, she even starred in Wes Anderson's Asteroid City.
"If anyone ever asks you to go to Spain to be in a Wes Anderson movie, say yes," Hawke shared during her spotlight panel at C2E2 2024. Joined onstage by Popverse's Veronica Valencia, Hawke talked about her excitement filming the movie, and working with director Wes Anderson - even though it meant that, somehow, she ended up wrapping the movie no less than three times. "He [Anderson] would go into his room and write me into another scene," she explained, adding, "I just wanted to be there."
