March is something of a winter hangover, isn't it? Sure, there are hints of spring dotted throughout the month, but for the most part, it's still cold and grey, perfect for snuggling up and getting sucked into, say, an intense drama centered on a crime? I'd say maybe that's just me, but by the looks of this coming month's streaming options, I don't think that I'm alone.

Yes, a few of the streamers that you're about to read about have sunk time and money into creating the most serious of serious crime dramas, perfect for fans of, say, Broadchurch or The Wire. That said, we've covered all the major new and original releases coming to streaming in March 2025, so there's plenty of other fare for those who might not be interested in darker series like those. Read on to find out more.

What's streaming on Netflix in March 2025

A new Spongebob movie, a live comedy series from John Mulaney, and the latest (Swedish) edition of hit reality series Love is Blind are all on Netflix's catalogue for March of 2025, but they may be overshadowed by what could be a blockbuster production from a tried-and-true team of hit-makers. The Russo Brothers' Electric State, starring Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown, finally makes its way onto the platform this month, and judging by the cast alone, it could very well be the first in a brand new franchise.

What's streaming on Amazon Prime Video in March 2025

Amazon's bringing two big, if extremely different, properties to the table this coming month, and wouldja look at that, both are coming back for their third seasons. The first show we're talking about is The Wheel of Time, the series that adapts the fantasy series by Robert Jordan of the same name, and the second is the sequel series to Prime Video's Bosch, called Bosch: Legacy, which will wrap up the long-running story of Detective Hieronymus "Harry" Bosch that began on Amazon in 2014.

What's streaming on Hulu in March 2025

After a long time spent trying, Hulu has finally acquired the streaming rights to this year's Academy Awards, which it will simulcast live along with the ABC presentation of the ceremony. However, the streaming platform is also offering up the Pakistani-American comedy Deli Boys, which may not feature Conan O'Brien as do the Oscars, but promises to be pretty funny anyway.

What's streaming on Max in March 2025

Kicking off the month for Warner Bros' Max is the intense Spanish mystery drama, When No One Sees Us. Watching the trailer gives me some serious Mare of Easttown vibes, so if prestige rural dramas centered around a mystery are your jam, this one's for you. 

What's streaming on Disney+ in March 2025

As of this writing, there's only one show we know for a fact is headed to Disney+ in March, but goshdarn if it isn't enough to make up for a thousand. At long last, MCU fans will get to follow the exploits of Matt Murdock, New York City's toughest vigilante, as he battles the forces of its most brilliant crime boss, Wilson Fisk, when Daredevil: Born Again airs on March 4. Honestly, I'd hate to be any other Disney+ show coming out this month.

What's coming to Apple TV+ in March 2025

Of interest to all our RPG players out there is Side Quest, heading to Apple TV+ this month. The comedy is a spinoff of the Rob McElhenney-led Apple comedy Mythic Quest, a workplace sitcom set within a company that designs games. As the core series continues following the main characters into their fourth season, the new series seeks to explore other people involved in the game, such as players and comic book shop owners.

What's coming to Peacock in March 2025

Like Max and Prime before it, Peacock also seems to be boarding the prestige crime drama train with Long Bright River. The Philadelphia set mystery, which is based on the Liz Moore novel of the same name, will star Amanda Seyfried as police officer Mickey, who's regular beat is infested with drug dealers and a series of unexplained deaths. For those excited about the Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney-starring adaptation of Freida McFadden's The Housemaid, this may be something to hold you over.

What's coming to Paramount+ in March 2025

And last but not least on our list is Paramount+, who'll be bringing in the chilly Spring with, well, a chiller. Happy Face, based on the iHeartRadio podcast of the same name, tells the true story of serial killer Keith Hunter Jesperson, who sent letters to the media and to authorities marked with the titular symbol. Dennis Quaid is stepping into the role of Jesperson, the first real person he's played since 2024's under-the-radar presidential biopic, Reagan.
