These are the bricks of a killer, Bella - The LEGO Twilight set is out in February

Fans can build The Cullen House, Jacob Black's wolf form, and recreate the "spider-monkey" scene in the palms of their hands

Even if you don't care for Twilight, I dare you to pretend this announcement from LEGO isn't cool. And if you do like Twilight, well, I dare you to keep your wallet in your pocket.

As reported by the good folks at Polygon, the mid-2000s' favorite vampire family is all bricked up (that's what that means, right?). As a result of the always-impressive LEGO Ideas program, you can now experience the Twilight Saga in LEGO form, as The Cullen House LEGO set makes its way to shelves this coming February. We'll get to the details of the set in just a second, but first, a little bit about its creation.

In case you don't know, the LEGO Ideas program is run by the company as a way for fans to build and pitch their own projects to become licensed LEGO sets (think of it as a Kickstarter for LEGO products). Successful entries into the program have included a LEGO recreation of The Office, Halloween Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and (in my opinion, most impressive) Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night.

In order to achieve success and have your LEGO Idea published as an official set, you need to have reach 10,000 votes from the Ideas community. When Cullen House creator Nick Micheels submitted his Twilight idea, it received that amount of votes in less than 48 hours, one of the most rapid successes that LEGO Ideas has ever seen.

Now, let's get to what comes with the set. By purchasing The Cullen House LEGO set, you will be able to build a replica of the vampiric family's iconic Seattle home (obviously), complete with a LEGO grand piano and LEGO tree in the back, so that certain unnamed spider-monkeys can follow certain uncredited instructions to "hold on tight." You can also construct a teeny lycanthrope, which the set credits as Jacob Black's animal form, and miniature pickup truck that belongs to Charlie Swan. Along with all that, the set comes with the following Twilight characters, transformed officially into minifigures for the first time in the franchise's history:

  • Bella Swan
  • Edward Cullen (who sparkles*)
  • Jacob Black (human form)
  • Charlie Swan
  • Dr. Carlisle Cullen
  • Alice Cullen
  • Rosalie Hale

*I'm serious about the sparkle thing, but I can't confirm whether it only appears in sunlight.

Twilight: The Cullen House LEGO set comes to shelves February 4, and costs $219.99 not counting shipping or tax. You can preorder it on LEGO's website now, and check out images of it below.

The cast of Twilight reunited at Emerald City Comic Con 2024, and Popverse was there to film it. Members can watch the full panel right here.

Grant DeArmitt: Grant DeArmitt (he/him) likes horror, comics, and the unholy union of the two. As Popverse's Staff Writer, he criss-crosses the pop culture landscape bringing you the news and opinions about the big things (and the next big things). In the past, and despite their better judgment, he has written for Nightmare on Film Street and Newsarama. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner, Kingsley, and corgi, Legs.
