He's the archenemy of a quirky inventor, obsessed with revenge, and has decades of villainhood under his belt. If you think I'm talking about Robert Downey Jr.'s Victor Von Doom, you're wrong. There's another sinister superior on his way to cinemas, and in my personal opinion, he's way more evil. I'm talking, of course, about Feathers McGraw - a penguin criminal mastermind, one of the longest-standing stop-motion animation baddies, and the central threat of upcoming film Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. Netflix featured McGraw in the just-released first teaser for the film, which you can watch below.
Feathers McGraw was first introduced in the 1993 short film The Wrong Trousers, in which the criminal mastermind utilized one of Wallace's inventions (a mechanical pair of pants) in a daring jewel heist. Luckily, though, some quick thinking by the ever-wise Gromit defeats McGraw, leading to the penguin's imprisonment in a City Zoo (seen in the trailer).
Since then, McGraw has cameoed a few times in Wallace & Gromit's exploits, particularly in a 2003 video game that featured him as the main antagonist. But in all that time, we've never seen him officially bust out of his imprisonment, meaning the villain 31 years to plan his revenge.
So when the title says his plan is 'most fowl,' believe it.
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl streams on Netflix January 3, 2025.
