Sorry Chris Pine - The best Dungeons & Dragons movie, Mr. Nice Guy and quite a few others just got quietly added to Warner Bros. YouTube channel

Over 30 movies have been added for free to Warner Bros. YouTube channel, so you have no excuse not to watch the best D&D movie ever made.

As more and more of our entertainment becomes locked behind subscription services, it is increasingly rare for studios to let us watch the movies for free. However, Warner Bros has apparently spotted a gap in the market and moved to fill it as they’ve quietly begun uploading full movies to their YouTube channel over the past few weeks. There are over two dozen movies available at the moment, with some big names in there.

Granted, Warner Bros. is still keeping the bulk of the movie archive on Max, but their YouTube channel currently has 31 movies available to watch for free. The playlist promises to let fans “Watch your favorite full movies here” though we’d take “favorite” with a pinch of salt. Most of these range from dated like Mutiny on the Bounty (1962) to forgettable like The Wind and the Lion to the outright bad – we’re looking at you, The Adventures of Pluto Nash. However, there are some gems hidden away in there.

The most viewed movie currently is Mr. Nice Guy, the 1998 action-comedy starring Jackie Chan at the height of his powers, but we’re most excited for the original live-action Dungeons & Dragons movie from 2000. No shade to the Chris Pine movie, but nothing beats seeing Jeremy Irons chewing every inch of the scenery as the villainous Mage Profion. The role is both beneath his obvious talents and perfect for him.

If you’re struggling to find something to watch in the evening and trying to save a bit of cash, Warner Bros. is using its YouTube channel to help. There is just enough on the channel that there should be something in there that catches your eye.
