Mrs. Kasha Davis dishes on her RuPaul's Drag Race return and leading with kindness
"It's been incredible! Thank you everyone for saying 'We want to see to her back on tv!'", Mrs. Kasha Davis says
Mrs. Kasha Davis is known for her standout moments during the Glamazonian Airways challenge and RuPaul Song Parody challenge during RuPaul's Drag Race season 7 and for her iconic tagline: "There's always time for a cocktail!". This year, Mrs. Kasha Davis has returned to television screens all over the world to compete on the eighth season of RuPaul's Drag Race: All-Stars. In the intervening years between her original season and now, Mrs. Kasha Davis has found sobriety, perfected her Drag Queen Story Hour, created a children's television show, and created a drag empire based on kindness.
In a thought-provoking discussion, Popverse's Ashley V. Robinson caught up with Mrs. Kasha Davis on the floor of RuPaul's Drag Con to discuss the evolution of her character, the importance of drag, and what stepping back into the spotlight has been like.
"It's been incredible! Thank you everyone for saying 'We want to see to her back on tv!'", Mrs. Kasha Davis excitedly told Popverse, "Some of you may remember me from RuPaul's Drag Race season 7's opening credits, but now I'm on All-Stars 8 and it's incredible! Really this platform is such a wonderful way to continue to spread kindness and love and that's really what it's all about for me."
Eagle-eyed RuPaul's Drag Race viewers will already know that Mrs. Kasha Davis sashayed away in episode 3, but she remains very much in the competition taking part in the still mysterious Fame Games by showcasing her looks and talents online in the hopes of winning the fan vote (and cash prize!), at the end of the season. To quote RuPaul, "Voting starts in July!" - July 14th to be specific. Be sure to vote for Mrs. Kasha Davis if you've loved watching her journey.
