My Adventures with Superman season 2 release date: The Man of Steel returns to Max at the end of May
The show shifts to the Toonami block of programming on Cartoon Network for season two.

Few characters benefit quite as much from the limitless possibilities of animation as Superman. More than any medium outside the original comics, animation has helped convince all of us that a really could leap tall buildings in a single bound. It is difficult to remember when there wasn’t a cartoon version of the Man of Steel on our screens, a trend that is set to continue as My Adventures with Superman returns for season two’s release date approaches faster than a speeding bullet.
My Adventures with Superman season two will debut on May 25, 2024 at midnight (effectively May 26, 2024), with the first two episodes of the season premiering on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block that evening before landing on Max the next day. New episodes will follow weekly on Saturdays afterward.
The coming-of-age take on the Superman story continues this year, with a trailer that introduces plenty of familiar faces from the Man of Steel’s long history in comics. In the short trailer, we see Metallo, Atomic Skull, and Amanda Waller, but it is the brief image of Supergirl and the introduction of a young and very not-bald Lex Luthor in the final moments of the clip that has most people talking.
The first season of My Adventures with Superman already included iconic characters like Dr. Ivo, Mr. Mxyzptlk, and Deathstroke, so it will be interesting to see how the second season handles throwing even more important characters from the Superman mythos into the mix. The young romance aspects of the show along with the focus on action and an anime-inspired aesthetic make this one of the most visually and narratively unique takes on the Man of Steel in recent years.
