Every live-service game has to come out with periodic content updates to keep players engaged. However, most developers also like to slip a fresh balance update out whenever they can. Marvel Snap’s most recent season, themed around the new Marvel Rivals shooter, changed the effects of several cards in the game to make them either more or less powerful.
Every change is designed to make the game fairer and to keep one card or deck build from being too powerful, but it can be confusing when a card you often use suddenly doesn’t have the text you thought it did. Here is every change made to cards in the December 2024 Marvel Snap update.
