Now hiring: Popverse Staff Writer

Popverse is growing in 2025.

2025 is still weeks away, but Popverse already has big plans - and needs to grow to achieve them.

Popverse is now hiring a second Staff Writer, joining out current four-person editorial team and the larger seven-person department here at ReedPop.

We are looking for an experienced writer who is adept at writing news, feature stories, and guides, and can bring creativity to all of those projects while hitting deadlines and optimizing your stories with ethical SEO practices. For this, we need someone well-versed in the pop culture landscape - television, movies, comics, live events - and able to effectively communicate ideas into stories, while also being able to examine, understand, and report on what others think as well.

Can the staff writer work in our Connecticut offices? Sure, if you live there - but you can also be a remote worker from anywhere in the United States. Wherever you reside, travel is a key part of the position; we need someone who can attend 3 to 5 events per year, including but not limited to comic conventions, internal summits, and press events.

If you're interested in this position, visit the ReedPop Careers page's job listing for Popverse Staff Writer. Make sure you follow the instructions in the application process, including telling us why you are the best fit for this position.
