Deadpool co-creator and Arrow showrunner face off in DC vs. Marvel battle in Popversus
Marvel vs. DC in Popverse's pop culture fight club: Popversus.
Popverse's top stories of the day
- Jason Momoa has finally been cast in his "perfect" DC role: Lobo (Sorry, Aquaman)

- Between new seasons of Dan Da Dan, Spy x Family, and My Hero Academia, I can't tell what my most anticipated anime of 2025 will be
Superheroes are huge right now - did you notice? Among them all, the biggest brands are Marvel - with its Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men - and DC - with Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman. As superhero stories are frequently about two opposing forces fighting (and sometimes it being hero-on-hero action), one of the most oft-asked questions is 'Which is better: Marvel or DC?'
With that in mind, Popverse called for a showdown, recruiting top creators from DC and Marvel to debate their points. In the Marvel corner, we have Deadpool co-creator Fabian Niceiza. In the other, we have DC's Arrow co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim. All of this is moderated (and refereed) by Popverse's own Ashley V. Robinson. And now you can watch this epic verbal sparring session that we call Popversus - the pop culture fight club.
