We’re getting the band back together for another season of Sound! Euphonium in 2024. This light-hearted anime has powerful Love! Live! vibes, with a bunch of high school girls making beautiful music together. The first two seasons delivered the moe feels we’ve been craving, but when is season three of Sound! Euphonium coming out?
Sound! Euphonium is the story of Kumiko, a young woman who decides to try out the high school brass band only to find that her feelings about the music are a bit more complicated than she expected. It follows the iconic anime trope of making a simple after-school activity feel like an all-encompassing lifestyle choice, with all the drama that comes with it. On April 7, 2024, the third season of the Sound! Euphonium anime will debut on Crunchyroll. It joins an increasingly crowded Spring 2024 anime season.
If that isn’t enough, Crunchyroll also has the first two seasons of Sound! Euphonium and the three feature-length films, Welcome to the Kaitauji High School Concert Band, May the Melody Reach You, and Our Promise: A Brand New Day.
One of the fun things about Sound! Euphonium is that it isn’t afraid to advance the age of the characters as the show goes along. The first season of the show follows Kumiko’s first year of high school and the second follows her second year. Predictably, upcoming Sound! Euphonium season three will follow her third year at Kaitauji High School.
Sound! Euphonium season three will debut on April 7, 2024 on Crunchyroll, with new episodes to follow weekly.
