Vivienne Medrano reveals the big bad for Hazbin Hotel season 2

Media mogul Vox will be the main villain for Hazbin Hotel season 2

Are you eagerly awaiting Hazbin Hotel season 2? We still don’t have a release date for Prime Video’s animated musical dramedy, but thanks to showrunner Vivienne Medrano, we have some hints at what the storyline might be. Medrano gave fans a tease during a Prime Video Animation panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

“We’re in production of season 2, which is very exciting. Obviously, there is not much I can say about it. The safest things I can say about it are…if anyone is familiar with season 1, you probably saw this tv-headed guy. His name is Vox, and he is a very big antagonist in season 2. That’s probably the safest thing I can say! He’s a big bad! We’ll see a lot more of him.”

Hazbin viewers might remember Vox from Hazbin season 1. To refresh your memories, Vox is Hell’s media mogul. He runs VoxTek Enterprises, which he uses to manipulate the media in the underworld. He was one of the antagonists in season 1, but it sounds like he’ll be upping his game for season 2. Does this mean we’ll be getting a war between all the Overlords of Hell? That place is already chaotic enough, so it will be interesting to see how Vox’s plans unfold.

Hazbin Hotel season 1 is currently streaming on Prime Video.
