Fire Country season 3 release date: California keeps burning this fall

Bridges will be built, or burned.

This fall, season 3 of CBS’s drama Fire Country will blaze its way through the television sets of viewers across the country. The next chapter in Fire Country is shaping up to be a deadly one, coming off the heels of its second season which premiered in February of this year.

A third season for Fire Country has been announced for this fall. It will premiere on Friday, October 18 at 9:00 PM ET/PT on CBS. Actor Max Thieriot will return to his role as Bode Leone, a convict who joins a prison firefighting brigade in the hopes of shortening his sentence, and perhaps achieving some redemption in the process. Thieriot’s role was inspired by his own experiences growing up in Northern California, a region that frequently gets deadly fires.

As part of his job as an incarcerated firefighter, Bode is assigned to the town where he was born and raised. The location of his assignment pushes the path of his redemption into rockier territory. Bode’s future and the fate of Cal Fire remain to be seen, but fans can rest assured that season 3 will provide plenty of drama.

Fire Country season 3 will premiere on Friday, October 18 at 9:00 ET/PT on CBS.
