The Big Bang Theory has yet again spawned another spinoff: Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. However, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage does not spin directly out of The Big Bang Theory, but rather The Big Bang Theory’s first spinoff show: Young Sheldon.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage stars Montana Jordan and Emily Osment as the titular Georgie Cooper and Mandy McAllister, as they navigate the early years in their marriage alongside raising a child in Texas. The show will be a half-hour comedy series produced in a familiar vein to Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory. For those keeping track of the expanding Big Bang Theory universe, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will be a sequel series to Young Sheldon.
To see Georgie and Mandy in season 1 of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, fans can tune in to CBS on Thursday, October 17 at 8:00 PM ET/PT to catch the show’s premiere. The show will continue to air on Thursdays from 8:00-8:30 ET/PT throughout the fall.
The Big Bang Theory ended in 2019, after twelve years on CBS. Since then, the show has continued to spawn new stories like Young Sheldon, which chronicled the upbringing of Jim Parsons’s Big Bang Theory character, Sheldon Cooper. Young Sheldon went on to become a hit with audiences. Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage follows Georgie, the older brother of Sheldon. With Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 1, the web of Sheldon Cooper continues to spread across CBS.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 1 premieres on CBS on Thursday, October 17 at 8:00 ET/PT.
