The Neighborhood season 7 release date: Cedric the Entertainer’s comedy is back in town

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Neighborhood drama never really ends, or at least, that’s what it can feel like in the moment. This is something that the Cedric the Entertainer-led comedy, The Neighborhood, can attest to, as it moves into its seventh season on CBS. So far, it seems like the conflict between Calvin and Dave is far from over.

The Neighborhood is a comedy about Dave Johnson (Max Greenfield) and his family when they relocate from the friendly Midwest to sprawling Los Angeles. Dave’s neighbor, Calvin Butler (Cedric the Entertainer), however, is far from amused by Dave’s friendly demeanor and the effect it will have on the neighborhood. The seventh season of The Neighborhood will premiere on Monday, October 21 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on CBS. With that, the next chapter in Calvin and Dave’s turf war begins.

Thus far, The Neighborhood has grown as a family comedy, with members of Dave and Calvin’s families mingling with each other. Dave and Calvin’s families have benefited from getting to know each other better. While Dave probably wouldn’t hesitate to admit that he’s glad to be Calvin’s neighbor, it may take some time before Calvin would ever say the same in return.

The Neighborhood season 7 will premiere Monday, October 21 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on CBS.
