Workplace mockumentaries are a mainstay in today’s television landscape. Shows like Abbott Elementary and The Office have gained a cultural foothold since they first debuted. Now, a brand new show called St. Denis Medical will enter the fray when it premieres this fall on NBC.

St. Denis Medical stars Wendi McLendon-Covey as Joyce, the Executive Director and former oncological surgeon of an understaffed and underfunded hospital. Despite the dire straights that St. Denis is in as a hospital, Joyce has high hopes that things can improve. St. Denis Medical will have its series premiere on Tuesday, November 12 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on NBC. The show will be a half hour-long comedy.

Wendi McLendon-Covey recently wrapped up a yearslong stint on The Goldbergs. St. Denis Medical will also star David Alan Grier as Ron, an emergency room doctor. The main cast is rounded out by Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Mekki Leeper, Kahyun Kim, and Kaliko Kauahi, playing various doctors and nurses in the hospital. Stephen Schneider will have a recurring role as Steve, the hospital’s chaplain.

St. Denis Medical will premiere on Tuesday, November 12 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on NBC.
