The comic book limited series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin was one of the biggest comic books of the past 10 years, and a sequel to that is due out in just a few days. But for those at Seattle's Emerald City Comic Con this weekend, they can buy a copy early.
How early? They've been on sale since Thursday, February 29.
Although Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin II - Re-Evolution #1 goes on sale at comic shops, bookstores, and online on March 6, IDW Publishing is selling copies of it to fans at their ECCC booth #20705 for the whole weekend - or at least while supplies last.
(Yes, we got one.)
The original TMNT: The Last Ronin series set a new record within IDW for the highest-selling single issue comic books ever for the publisher - ending up at last track somewhere over 840,000 copies. And the collected hardcover edition sold through a 60,000-copy print run in just days, leading to a second printing of 100,000 copies.
This first, direct sequel to Last Ronin stars an entirely new line-up of Turtles, led by the daughter of April O'Neil and Casey Jones.
