A Good Girl's Guide to Murder author Holly Jackson says she chimed in on the BBC/Netflix show adaptation "wherever she bloody well" could

BBC and Netflix are bringing Holly Jackson's A Good Girl's Guide to Murder to TV, and Jackson couldn't help but be involved with it as much as she could

So just how involved was A Good Girl's Guide to Murder author Holly Jackson in the live-action adaptation for a BBC/Netflix show? Very, and not just behind-the-camera. During a packed official panel for the show just now at London's MCM Comic Con, Jackson and the cast talked about the highly-anticipated series.

As Jackson tells the audience, she learned through the process of the BBC/Netflix show A Good Girl's Guide to Murder that she is a bit of a control freak and has trouble letting go. She said she stuck her nose into the production "wherever she bloody well" could, and insisted that the show have a woman director - which it does in Holly Wells.

Jackson's involvement with the show wasn't limited to behind-the-camera, as she also has multiple cameos in the show . Wells says the author has a cameo in both episode three and four, and its even revealed she almost had a second one in the third episode but it was cut.

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder debuts July 1 for those in the UK on BBC Three and the BBC iPlayer, with international airings planned for Netflix and more later in the year.
