Pst. Hey, Hazbin fans.

Yes, you reading this article. Guess what? Erika Henningsen thinks you’re awesome.

The Hazbin Hotel voice actress can’t get enough of the fandom, and if Megacon is any indication, the feeling is mutual. During a spotlight panel at Megacon 2025, Henningsen spoke to a room of Hazbin fans, and was immediately overcome with emotion.

“People are like, ‘Gosh, that must be overwhelming,’ and I’m like, no, because our fans are fucking crazy, but they’re crazy in a nice sweet endearing way that makes me want to kiss you all, but we can’t, because that’s a lot,” Henningsen said. “I don’t really know a fanbase that’s like that. Maybe there are other ones, but ours just has this very specific vibe to it, and you see it when you walk through the convention, you’re like, yeah there’s that section, there’s that section…that’s the Hazbin section. We get it, but it’s good! The energy is good!”

At that point someone in the audience yelled that it was all about millennial trauma, and the sentiment immediately clicked for Henningsen. “Oh my god, somebody bring me a shirt that says, ‘It’s all about millennial trauma,’ by Sunday,” Henningsen said.

I sat in the panel, and I could feel the love between Henningsen, her Hazbin castmates, and the audience. She’s right, it’s fucking crazy, but it’s the best kind of crazy, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
