Viz Media has quietly added hundreds of Naruto anime episodes and every movie to YouTube just in time for the holidays
Also added are Sailor Moon, Death Note, and Ranma 1/2 for US fans to stream for free.

Anime is a lot of things, but it definitely isn’t cheap. Between DVD collections, streaming subscriptions, and that figurine that you just have to add to your collection, there is plenty to spend your money on. However, Viz is making sure that Naruto fans in the US can get their fix without breaking the bank by hosting a collection of movies and episodes of the anime on their YouTube channel.
The announcement came at the start of November, with Viz confirming that they’ve added every Naruto and Naruto Shippuden movie to their YouTube channel for free. There is a catch, though – the videos are only available to stream in the US. If the Naruto movies weren’t enough, Viz has also added the first 220 episodes of Naruto – filler and all – to their YouTube channel. Again, these videos are only available in the US.
If that wasn’t enough, Viz have also quietly added a whole host of new anime episodes to their YouTube channel, allowing fans to binge hundreds of episodes. New series available to stream for free on YouTube are:
- Captain Tsubasa – All 52 Episodes
- Death Note – All 37 Episodes
- Hunter x Hunter – Episodes 1-148
- Inuyasha – All 193 Episodes
- Mr. Osomatsu – Episodes 1-50
- Naruto – Episodes 1-220
- Ranma ½ – Episodes 1-161
- Sailor Moon – All Episodes
- Vampire Knight – All 26 Episodes
That is a lot of anime to watch without paying a dime. So long as you can deal with some ads sneaking in as you binge hundreds of episodes, you should have no shortage of things to watch over the 2024 holiday season.
"In the ninja world, those who don't follow rules are trash." as Obita Uchiha once said. And while we can't say these are rules, they are the king things you'll want to read next about Naruto:
