The wait is almost over: season 2 of Arcane is releasing just around the corner, and we got all the details. Season 1 of the animated show on Netflix won over both longtime League of Legends fans and newcomers who had never played the game before. The show's gorgeous animation and compelling world-building made it a hit for the streamer when season 1 released in 2021.

Now, the show is back for a second season this fall. Instead of dropping its new season all at once, Arcane season 2 will take a similar approach to other Netflix hits, and stagger the release of its episodes. The second season will release in 3 "acts" or installments spaced out a week apart. Act 1 of Arcane season 2 will release November 9, while act will release November 16, and the third and final act will drop November 23

Season 2 will be the final chapter for Arcane as a show. However, the show's co-creator Christian Linke has stated that the end of Arcane does not close the door entirely on stories told in Runeterra. Linke has expressed their desire to tell more stories set in Runeterra. If you're a fan of Arcane and League of Legends, keep your eyes peeled for any announcements.
