Netflix decided that the world has been cruel enough to lovers recently, and instead gifted everyone a special present for St. Valentines Day 2025: a sneak peak at the next season of Bridgerton, which isn’t even expected to reach screens until next year.
Officially, the streamer described the video thusly: “To celebrate the Season of Love, Netflix takes you behind the scenes of filming Bridgerton Season 4 with Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton) and Yerin Ha (Sophie Baek).” Let’s be honest — I suspect more people are going to be excited for the looks on offer at that costume ball (Nicola Coughlin! That outfit) and the chance to see Like Thompson soaked through for reasons both unknown and, as history as proven in both Pride & Prejudice and Bridget Jones’ Diary, entirely superfluous.
Here, take a look for yourself.
Bridgerton’s fourth season will reportedly be the most faithful adaptation of Julia Quinn’s book series to date, and draw primarily from An Offer From A Gentleman. The show is currently in production, but it’s unclear when fans should be expecting to see the finished product. Thankfully, this video can be watched on repeat for quite a while.
