Creature Commandos at NYCC '24: The weirdest, wildest & Weasel-est moments from DC & Max's James Gunn-led panel

New York Comic Con attendees got a special look at the upcoming, Max-streaming, James Gunn-obeying series Creature Commandos. But why should they have all the fun? get your own look at the best moments here

We're still a few weeks shy of the debut story officially set in James Gunn & Peter Safran's new DCU: Creature Commandos. And while distance only makes the (stitched-together) heart grow fonder, fans looking forward to the series were no doubt jealous of the lucky attendees of New York Comic Con 2024, who got a special glimpse into the show with a once-in-a-lifetime panel hosted by none other than Gunn himself. The Popverse crew were some of the fortunate few

That's right, we're sharing the biggest highlights of the Creature Commandos panel hosted by Max right here on this page. Check out the insights, behind-the-scenes stories, and plenty of laughs from DC Studios A-listers such as David Harbour, Maria Bakalova, Zoë Chao, Sean Gunn, Frank Grillo, Alan Tudyk and more, thanks to your fellows in creature features, Popverse.

It sure does speak to the lovability of a TV series when even the promotional panel at a comment convention deserves its own 15-minute recap, but if you were in the audience, you know that the video above represents only a fraction of the full panel. So if you loved what you've just seen, learn how to watch the full NYCC '24 Creature Commandos panel (and so many, many more) right here.

Creature Commandos debuts on Max December 5, 2024.

In the past, and despite their better judgment, he has written for Nightmare on Film Street and Newsarama. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner, Kingsley, and corgi, Legs.
