If you're a James Gunn fan and his upcoming Superman movie feels a bit too far away, you're in luck.

James Gunn has an entire animated show that's coming to Max in December. Creature Commandos is written and showrun by James Gunn and features a cast including Frank Grillo, Maria Bakalova, Indira Varma, Alan Tudyk, Sean Gunn, and David Harbour. And while it feels a little different from the other fare DC Studios is pushing right now, Gunn says that it is an "amuse-bouche" for the new DCU.

Though James Gunn didn't appear in person at SDCC's Jim Lee and Friends panel, he did appear on screen to introduce the first teaser trailer for the upcoming show, which was later posted onto his social media. You can watch the trailer here below.
