Dragon Ball Daima's English dub is finally coming to Crunchyroll in January 2025

Though the series is streaming on Netflix as well, the English Dub of Dragon Ball Daima appears to be exclusive to Crunchyroll at this time.

Ever since Dragon Ball Daima began airing on Crunchyroll and Netflix this season, we’ve been keeping up with the new adventures of Goku and his friends in the Demon Realm. However, even though the English dub was getting casting announcements all the way back at New York Comic Con, most people haven’t had a chance to see the dub in action. Now, at least we have a release date for the Dragon Ball Daima English dub; we just have to wait until 2025 to see it.

Some fans got to see the first three episodes of the Dragon Ball Daima English dub back in November when they were given a theatrical release in select cinemas, but the episodes will finally be coming to Crunchyroll on January 10, 2025 in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Episodes will stream every Friday after that until the full season is out. While no other territories have been confirmed for the English dub, Crunchyroll has said that more announcements for other regions will be forthcoming.

What about Netflix? It seems like they might be missing out on the dubbed episodes of Dragon Ball Daima despite already streaming the subtitled version in most regions. The reason for this is unclear, though Crunchyroll having absorbed Funimation a few years ago and assumed much of their dubbing duties probably has something to do with it. With Crunchyroll becoming the place to watch dubbed episodes of the latest Dragon Ball series, it is another way they are trying to differentiate themselves from other streaming sites out there.
