Fallout Season 2 trailer introduces Justin Theroux in a direct tie-in to the games - and there's also a Deathclaw, too

Justin Theroux will join the cast of the Prime Video as Robert House, central character of the game Fallout: New Vegas

Fans who wanted a more direct connection between the Fallout video games and the Prime Video series had their wish come true with the reveal of the show’s second season trailer — Justin Theroux’s new character in the series is none other than Robert House — the ruler of New Vegas.

Theroux’s take on House, who’s one of the central characters in Fallout: New Vegas (unsurprisingly), can be seen briefly interacting with the human version of the Ghoul (the always wonderful Walton Goggins) in the trailer, boasting characteristically that he is very good at what he does… “and what I do,” he adds, “is, I know everything.”

Well, maybe not everything — but certainly enough to cause trouble for the Ghoul, Lucy (Ella Purnell), and Maximus (Aaron Moten) as the post-apocalyptic video game adaptation returns to Prime Video. The new trailer didn’t just introduce Theroux and tease violence, derring-do, and dance to come, of course; it also offered a tantalizing glimpse at the show’s introduction of the deadly predator the Deathclaw, as well.

Following up on its hit first season, Fallout will return to Prime Video December 17. Watch the trailer below.
