Family is a recurrent theme in George Lopez's work, spanning recent projects like Blue Beetle back to The George Lopez Show from the early 2000s. Lopez's focus finds both the humor and the pain in being a family. Now, the comedian's latest sitcom, Lopez vs Lopez, is back for season 3 this fall on NBC.

Starring George Lopez and his daughter, Mayan Lopez, Lopez vs Lopez is a fictionalized look at their father-daughter relationship. With the advent of season 3 on the horizon, there is still plenty more ground for the NBC sitcom to cover. Lopez vs Lopez will come back to the airwaves for season 3 on Friday, October 18 at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

If you want to get caught up on previous seasons of the show, they are available to stream now on Peacock. Season 1 consists of 22 episodes, while season 2 is 10 episodes, so if you play your cards right, you can rewatch the entire show before season 3 premieres. Season 2 ended with George's character embarking on his sobriety journey, which we can expect will be carried through to season 3.

Lopez vs Lopez season 3 will premiere on Friday, October 18 at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.
