Is there anything that Clancy Brown can't do? The actor has excelled at playing roles from across a spectrum of different personalities. From Mr. Krabs on Spongebob, to a menacing and immortal warrior in Highlander, to the fire giant Surtur in Thor: Ragnarok, the sky is the limit when it comes to Brown's acting abilities. Now, hot off the heels of his performance as crime boss Salvatore Maroni in The Penguin, Brown is stepping over to the other side of the law with a new show on The CW called Good Cop/Bad Cop.

Good Cop/Bad Cop will premiere on The CW on February 19, 2025 at 9 PM ET/PT. On the show, actress Leighton Meester plays Lou, the daughter of police chief Big Hank (Clancy Brown). Lou teams up with her brother Henry (Luke Cook) in order to address the "crime problem" in their small town. The CW has released a trailer for the series, which you can watch below.

The show will be an hour-long procedural that's also described as a dramedy. The title of the show refers to the competence of Meester's character, versus the disorganization of her younger brother who she is forced to work with. Good Cop/Bad Cop is executive-produced by Trent O'Donnell, who has directed fifteen episodes of the hit CBS show, Ghosts.

While it looks like Good Cop/Bad Cop will be much tamer than some of Clancy Brown's other projects, there's still a chance that the actor could bust out a memorable vocal performance at least once during the series. After all, this isn't the first time that he has played the head of a group with limited resources. Just look at the Krusty Krab.
