Are you prepared for something… grotesque? Because that’s what’s promised by the upcoming horror drama series Grotesquerie from Ryan Murphy. The series features Niecy Nash as Detective Lois Tyron. When Detective Tyron is confronted with an especially grisly series of murders, she must join forces with nun/crime journalist Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond). Furthermore, the series features Travis Kelce in an undisclosed role. Read on to learn more about the disturbing upcoming show, including when and where you can watch it.
In addition to Nash, Diamond and Kelce, the cast also includes Courtney B. Vance, Lesley Manville, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Raven Goodwin and Amber Riley. And just how grisly can you expect Grotesquerie to be? Well, even the trailer, which is introduced by Kelce, comes with a mature content warning.
The show’s first season is ten episodes long and was written by Murphy & Jon Robin Baitz & Joe Baken. The first two episodes of Grotesquerie season 1 will debut on FX on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The remaining eight episodes will debut on Wednesdays through November 20, 2024. Each episode will be available for streaming on Hulu the day after it airs on FX.
Will you be watching Grotesquerie when it arrives? And if so, will you be able to look away?
