Drew Goddard, the mastermind behind the film The Cabin in the Woods and the writer of shows like Daredevil and Lost, is back with a new network television show on ABC called High Potential. Starring Kaitlin Olson, High Potential is a drama about a single mother who solves crimes with a stick-in-the-mud detective, played by Daniel Sunjata.

High Potential is based off of a French television show called Haut Potentiel Intellectuel, or "high potential intellectual." The show will premiere on Tuesday, September 17 at 10/9c on ABC. It can also be streamed on Hulu. The title of the show refers to the high intellect of Kaitlin Olson's character, who works as a cleaning lady at a Los Angeles police station.

Drew Goddard is also executive producing the show. He executive produced The Good Place, as well as directed some episodes. He was a producer on Lost, in addition to writing some episodes, and also executive produced The Defenders for Netflix. Goddard is synonymous with the gritty and mature take on Daredevil which he created for Netflix in 2015. With Daredevil: Born Again right around the corner, we have a lot to thank Drew Goddard for.

High Potential will premiere on September 17 at 10/9c on ABC. It can also be streamed on Hulu.
