Law & Order release date: Here's when SVU and the flagship show are coming (and when the Criminal Intent Toronto show could be!)

Curious when a new episode of Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Organized Crime and Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent will arrive?

The long-running Law & Order franchise was created by Dick Wolf in 1990, and since then, over 1300 episodes of the flagship series and its six spinoffs have aired. Not all of the shows are still ongoing, but you can expect new episodes of Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Organized Crime and Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent in the future.

Law & Order season 24 and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit season 26 will both be making their debut on the same day. You can expected to catch both of them on October 3, 2024 on NBC, with Law & Order at 8pm ET/PT and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit following at 9 pm ET/PT. The episodes will be available for streaming the next day on Peacock.

However, the remaining two ongoing shows in the Law & Order franchise don’t yet have concrete release dates. Law & Order: Organized Crime season 5 has been announced and will be exclusively available to stream on Peacock when it debuts. However, when the season premiere will be stream has yet to be unveiled.

And the final series, Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent airs on CityTV and is available to stream through Prime Video and AppleTV+. No official release date has been announced for this show’s next season premiere, either. However, audiences can expect Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent season 2’s first episode to be released sometime between September 2024 and February 2025.
