Lost showrunners confirm one fan theory about what Hurley did after the show ended
We'd watch this spin-off, honestly.

The ending of Lost remains one of those landmark moments in television history, but it left plenty of things up in the air. Fans have long speculated about what the characters got up to after the finale, with dozens of theories popping up over the years. Now, at least our boy Hugo has gotten his happy ending, according to the showrunners themselves.
When asked about their favorite fan theories about Lost, showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse were quick to confirm what Hugo got up to after the show ended. Lindelof said to Cuse, “I just wanted to say officially, because I think you and I are in a position to do this, we can verify [the] theory that Hugo is having a yearly invitational that’s called the Dharma Open, and it’s invitation only. That is a thing that is, in fact, accurate.”
In a nod to the show’s non-linear structure, Cuse added, “Yeah, it starts with the fourth round, and then it finishes with the first round.” So you can file that fan-theory under “Confirmed” and obsess about something new.
While we’re not generally in favor of show revivals and reboots, we would watch the heck out of a spin-off show that was all Hugo trying to organize the Dharma Open each year, with all sorts of random island-based shenanigans getting in each year. Is that a polar bear on the 16th fairway? Looks like some other island inhabitants have sprung up at the fourth green. And don’t even ask about the outrigger in the water hazard.
