Gina Torres says Suits L.A. is "finding their rhythm" and "a little early" to say if her Jessica Pearson character will appear

Whenever a television show gets a spinoff, it’s inevitable that the actors from the original series make a guest appearance. Fonzie showed up on Laverne and Shirley. Most of the Cheers gang showed up on Frasier. Even Walter White showed up towards the end of Better Call Saul.
Now that Suits has received a spinoff with Suits LA, can we expect to see Jessica Pearson make an appearance? Not anytime soon, according to actress Gina Torres. During a Firefly and Serenity spotlight panel, Torres was asked about appearing on the new series. “
I have no idea. I mean, I don’t know,” Torres says.
The actress went on to say that she thinks the show should get a chance to find its own identity before her character makes an appearance. After all, guest stars tend to overshadow the main cast, which can be difficult when a spinoff is trying to distinguish itself from the original series.
“They’re finding their rhythm. It’s a little early to tell, and Aaron [Korsh] is involved in that, and they need to be their own show. They need to figure out what that show is, so I think it’s a little early to tell,” Torres says.
