Stranger Things, Bridgerton, Squid Game, One Piece, & more are coming to a dinner plate near you (well, if you live in Las Vegas) thanks to Netflix
Netflix is teaming up with the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV for NETFLIX BITES, an all-new dining experience based on the streamer's most adored offerings

You'll recall that Popverse reported on the Sakamoto Days cafe opening in Japan, and that the bummer about that story is, well, to eat there you'd have to go all the way to Japan. Today, however, we are thrilled to tell you about even more Netflix-favorite-themed dining, and at a distance that's a little bit more accessible to US streamers. That is, Netflix Bites, an all-new way to stuff your face based on your favorite show.
Here are the basics: Netflix Bites is an immersive dining experience opening soon at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. It's an officially-licensed property that will not only bring your favorite shows to life in its decor, but in the actual menue items themselves. According to a press release sent out by the streamer, food and drinks at the restaurant will take inspiration from Stranger Things, Bridgerton, Squid Game, ONE PIECE, La Casa de Papel, Love is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, Floor is Lava, and Nailed It!.
Even though the location is still a few weeks from opening as of this, the press release was able to divulge four of those menu items as a special preview for what to expect, which we've gone ahead and listed here:
- Inspired by Stranger Things, Netflix Bites presents: Eleven’s Feast - described as "crispy chicken and waffle sliders perfect for foodies who love a little dimension-hopping, served both 'Hawkins' style and 'Upside Down'."
- Inspired by Bridgerton, Netflix Bites presents: Regency Tea - described as "a lavish three-tiered tea service with finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries straight from the Ton served with a menu designed by Lady Whistledown herself.
- Inspired by Money Heist, Netflix Bites presents: La Casa del Sangria - described as "a Spanish-style cocktail with gold-dusted mint leaves, served in a lockbox that’ll have guests solving a puzzle, challenging for even the sharpest of the Money Heist crew."
- And finally, inspired by Too Hot to Handle, Netflix Bites presents a special twist on the Bloody Mary - described as "a cocktail so spicy it comes with its own potholder in case guests can’t handle the heat!"
No word on what the Squid Game menu item will be, but if you want my guess, it'll be some sort of Mai Tai. That is, because they are both quite whimsical and also absolutely deadly.
Speaking on the ambitious themed eating establishment, Netflix's Vice President of Consumer Products, Josh Simon, said: "With NETFLIX BITES Vegas, we're taking fan-favorite shows from the screen to the table and turning them into a culinary adventure [...] We’re excited to partner with MGM Grand, experts in hospitality and top-notch Vegas entertainment, to offer fans a new way to experience their favorite stories with an invitation to step into the worlds of Stranger Things, Bridgerton, Squid Game, Chef’s Table, Dinner Time Live with David Chang and more, one bite at a time."
Something of note in his statement - Simon makes certain to clarify he's talking about Netflix Bites Vegas. Could the seemingly random classification point to another Netflix Bites location in the future? One perhaps even more accessible to, I don't know, Netflix watchers on the East Coast?
One can only hope.
Netflix Bites opens February 20 exclusively at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. To make a reservation, head to their website.
Fade to credits, then a pop-up of what to watch read next - just like Netflix:
