Once Upon A Time's cast want to change the past and reverse death itself - but to be fair, someone asked
Robin Hood, The Evil Queen and the Wicked Witch of the West consider what stories they'd have changed on ABC's Once Upon a Time

During the fan portion of Q&A at C2E2 2025's Once Upon a Time spotlight panel, the attending cast was asked what storylines they would have changed for their characters. Lana Parilla (Regina Mills, the Evil Queen), Rebecca Mader (Zelena, the Wicked Witch of the West) and Sean Maguire (Robin Hood) paused a moment to consider before ceding the floor to Maguire, who clearly had something to get off his chest.
"I'd be alive!" Maguire shouted to mass applause. For those who aren't still traumatized, Maguire's Robin Hood sacrificed himself to save Parilla's Regina in season five, episode 21. A blow from Hades meant for Regina Mills went straight into Robin's heart, cementing one of the most emotional deaths on Once Upon a Time. Maguire was clearly playing up the emotion for the audience's benefit, but there's no doubt that a significant portion of the fandom wonders what a season seven would have looked like with Robin and Regina still paired together.
Maguire turned to Parilla, clearly expecting her answer to be the same, but the once and future Evil Queen said "That's too obvious," to a clearly heartbroken Robin Hood. Parilla's actual storyline she would have changed was a bit different. "17 episodes acting opposite myself was insane," Parilla laughed, referring to season six threads where she played both Regina and The Queen from another realm. Parilla said the producers told her it would last "just for the first half" although it would up being a majority of the season. "I would have shortened that," she concluded.
Other teased suggestions included Maguire's riff on exploring Robin's sexuality ("I have some questions about a man who lives with 20 other men in a forest covered in makeup"), and bringing in the Old Man from Up, Carl Fredricksen. The series may have ended in 2018, but fairytales never stay in the shadows for long.
