Once Upon a Time's Lana Parilla and Rebecca Mader want to do a villains-only spinoff series, and have a few ideas of who would join them

Seven seasons wasn’t nearly enough for fans of Once Upon a Time, and if the cast has anything to say about it, the storybook might not be closed just yet. During the Once Upon a Time reunion panel this past weekend at Chicago's C2E2 2025, a spirited audience member posed a dream question: what would a villain-only spinoff look like, aka who would you invite into your witch's coven?
Lana Parilla (Regina Mills, the Evil Queen) and Rebecca Mader (Zelena, the Wicked Witch of the West) were immediately on board. The duo jumped on all the villains they'd enjoy, or have already enjoyed during Once Upon a Time's run. Ursula from The Little Mermaid was an early favorite, and Cruella de Vil (as portrayed in the series by Victoria Smurfit) got a firm nod as well.
Sean Maguire (Robin Hood), sitting beside the two would-be coven leaders, didn’t seem to mind being left out of the wicked fun.
“I’d be fetching tea for all the powerful women,” he joked to loud laughter from the crowd. “What a tough job that would be for me; surrounded by intelligent, attractive, powerful women all day,” Maguire continued joking, clearly loving the idea.
While the spinoff remains purely hypothetical (for now), the chemistry between the three actors left fans wondering what kind of magic ABC could conjure if it ever chose to revisit the Once Upon a Time universe. After all, the original series managed to blend dozens of fairy tales, timelines, and realms into one epic narrative. A villains-only chapter? Sounds like a spell worth casting. Until then, fans can dream of a darkly glamorous tea party hosted by Regina, with Robin dutifully pouring Earl Grey while Zelena schemes across the table.
