Disney+'s adaptation of the classic Rick Riordan mythology series Percy Jackson and the Olympians is currently just a few days into production for its second season. Ealier this year San Diego Comic Con-we learned that Daniel Diemer will by playing young cyclops Tyson, but we're getting a little more casting news coming out of this year's D23.
At the D23 Percy Jackson panel, the show's executive producers Jon Steinberg, Dan Schotz, and Craig Silverstein gave us a little more of a tease of the second season, announcing that the Gray Sisters, the mythological trio of old women, will be making an appearance.
Playing the Gray Sisters will be comedians Margaret Cho (who will play Wasp), Kristen Schaal (Tempest), and Sarah Bernhard (Anger).
Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 will be based off of the second book in the Percy Jackson series: Sea of Monsters.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 1 is currently streaming on Disney+, with season 2 announced for 2025.
