Phineas and Ferb season 5 release date: Disney's daring duo returns to save Danville from the likes of Dr. Doofenshmirtz, this summer
Join Disney+ this June as Phineas & Ferb continues proving the rule that nothing is funnier than a platypus pulling a Clark Kent

If I told you that one of the most anticipated returns to a series cancelled ten years ago was airing on Disney+, you would be right to assume that it was of the Marvel or Star Wars variety. But the world-saving duo that are coming back for more hotly-anticipated episodes on Disney's streaming platform aren't of the superhero or Jefi variety at all - they're just two stepbrothers with an incredibly capable platypus.
I'm talking, of course, about Phineas and Ferb.
The Phineas and Ferb season 5 release date is June 6 on Disney+, the first time new episodes featuring the dynamic Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher will appear in screens since the last episode of season 4 aired in June of 2015. And since then, the fanbase has only grown - not only are the pair and their pet, Perry the Platypus absolutely ubiquitous in meme culture, but Disney has seen a continued interest in the show (which originally aired in 2007), via things like merch, cosplay at conventions, and of course, streaming numbers.
And not to be cynical about it at all, but the latter gets a lot more attention from the folks in power than does the love of fans, or even an egg-laying mammal in a fedora.
Phineas and Ferb season 5 comes to Disney+ June 6.
