Reacher season 3 release date promises a loaded season premiere as Alan Ritchson's Prime Video hit continues

A dead enemy from Jack Reacher's past returns, giving Alan Ritchson's character a chance to get revenge all over again in Reacher season 3.

Alan Ritchson's return as Jack Reacher is imminent, as Amazon has announced the Reacher season 3 release date on Prime Video. The hit series Reacher will return for its third season on Thursday, February 20. The show will run weekly for eight episodes, but Prime Video is loading up the season premiere by dropping the first three episodes all on February 20, 2025.

Like all seasons of Prime Video's Reacher, Reacher season 3 will again be based on one of Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels - in this case 2003's Persuader.

"Reacher hurtles into the dark heart of a vast criminal enterprise when trying to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out," reads the Prime Video description of Reacher season 3. "There he finds a world of secrecy and violence—and confronts some unfinished business from his own past."

If the TV series follows the book, that "undercover DEA informant" will be Rickard Beck - played by Johnny Berchtold. In the books, he's the son of Zachary Beck, played in Reacher season 3 by Anthony Michael Hall. The "unfinished business from his past" would be the surprise return of someone believed to be dead - Brian Tee's Quinn - who was responsible for the murder of two of Reacher's allies years ago.

The Reacher season 3 finale will be on Thursday March 27, 2025 - but don't fret, as Amazon has already renewed Reacher for a fourth season in 2026.
