The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has done blockbuster action scenes before, but none of them compares to Season 2’s multi-episode epic, the Siege of Eregion.
Adar and his Mordor orcs are at the gates, with only Elrond and his elven warriors to hold them back. Should Elrond fail, Eregion will fall – and Middle-earth will never be the same. Meanwhile, dark lord in disguise Sauron and elf-smith Celebrimbor engage in battle of wills inside the city’s walls, the outcome of which will likewise have world-changing consequences.
