Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' season 3 trailer promises holodeck adventures, romance, and Rhys Darby!
Who could Rhys Darby be playing in season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds? We have some theories

The wait is nearly over for season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, gang. And what a glorious season we have in store for us. Sure, it's a trailer's job to amp us up for what's to come, but I'm practically wallrunning around my own home in excitement because everything looks bigger and better in the upcoming season. Let's also not forget that season 2 of Strange New Worlds left us all on a killer cliffhanger - one that made me scream before my friend replied, "NOW YOU KNOW HOW ALL OF US HAVE BEEN FEELING." Thankfully, we get a glimpse of the Gorn in the new trailer.
Okay, okay, I'll drop the trailer below. Check it out for yourself.
It looks like there are going to be some serious holodeck episodes this season! We see Spock and La'an (dressed remarkably like Carmen Sandiego, I might say) entering the holodeck, with La'an even cracking a rare smile. Then, we get a glimpse of Rhys Darby's character making an extremely loaded gesture within Star Trek lore: snapping his fingers. I don't know, maybe this is just recency bias since I just watched the Quinn episodes of Voyager a week ago, but snapping is something that Qs are known to do within Star Trek. Darby also has the charisma to play a Q character well. And considering when Strange New Worlds takes place, could Darby's character connect to Trelane from The Original Series?
In other news, it looks like Spock and Chapel are back together again. I hope nothing bad happens to them. But this is Strange New Worlds after all, who am I to make such naive statements?
