Andor season 2 release date: The Rogue One spinoff show will take place across a period of four years in the Star Wars Universe

Andor season 2 has a lot of ground to cover, and we can't wait for it to finally land on Disney+ this spring

When season 1 of Andor came out in 2022, it elevated the standard for all future Star Wars projects. Tony Gilroy's series on Disney+ about the Rogue One character, Cassian Andor, was a cutting and emotionally resonant story about the costs of being a revolutionary. Star Wars has long been concerned with the lives and actions of rebels, but Andor dug into their humanity with fervor.

It comes as no surprise that Andor season 2 is highly anticipated, and it's nearly here. Andor season 2 will begin streaming on April 22, 2025 on Disney+. Season 2 will consist of 12 episodes overall, and will take place across a period of 4 years in the Star Wars Universe. The season will be separated into 3 episode arcs featuring stories told across a few days in each year.

Overall, the story of Andor season 2 will be leading up to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. And we all know how that film ended, with the death of Cassian Andor. At least he went out like a legend.

Lucasfilm and Disney+ have yet to release an official teaser trailer for the season, but our guess is that it's coming soon. We're looking forward to seeing what Tony Gilroy and the rest of the Andor team have put together these last couple of years.

Andor season 2 will begin streaming on Disney+ on April 22, 2025.
