Superman & Lois season 4 release date: Here's when DC's Man of Steel show returns for its final season

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s the release date for Superman and Lois season 4!

When will Superman and Lois season 4, the show’s final season, air on The CW? The series stars Tyler Hoechlin as Superman and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane. While Hoechlin and Tulloch first played those characters on the Arrowverse series Supergirl and The Flash, Superman and Lois season 2 confirmed the series took place on a distinct continuity.

Superman and Lois season 1 debuted on the CW in January 2021. Seasons 1 and 2 of Superman and Lois each had 15 episodes, while season 3 had 13. However, the fourth and final outing for the show does have a foreshortened season of just ten episodes. In addition, a diminished budget means that many of the regular characters will appear either as guest stars or not at all.

However, there will be some familiar faces for fans to looking forward to seeing again. After appearing as a guest star in season 3, Michael Cudlitz (Lex Luthor) has been promoted to series regular. Meanwhile, Michael Bishop will return as Jonathan Kent and Alex Garfin will return as Jordan Kent. It has also been reported that Dylan Walsh will return as Samuel Lane for two episodes. Furthermore, Emmanuelle Chriqui will guest star as Lana Lang in an unrevealed number of episodes.

You can expect to see the Superman and Lois season 4 two-episode premiere on The CW on October 7, 2024. It seems the title of the show’s final episode, “It Went By Too Fast,” is indeed apt. Nevertheless, will you be watching Superman and Lois season 4 when it arrives?
