The Boba Fett and Mandalorian Armorer actors have an idea for Star Wars next big TV show hit: The Great Boba Fett Bake Off
We never knew how cool the idea seemed until just now.

With as many Star Wars shows and movies that have been made over the years, it is tough to imagine there being anything they haven’t shown from a galaxy far, far away. However, there is one thing we haven’t seen on the big or small screen and that is the kind of cozy, casual viewing that is the lifeblood of streaming sites these days. Fortunately, the cast of The Mandalorian has an idea of how to fix that and it involves Boba Fett and an oven.
The idea was sparked during The Mandalorian cast panel at MCM London in May 2024. Emily Swallow, who played The Armorer in both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, commented that she never got to share a scene with Boba Fett himself, Temuera Morrison. This led to the pair being asked what kind of show they would be on together. The initial suggestion, a dating show, sounds fun, but our favorite option was a Mandalorian baking show. “A cupcake showdown!” suggested Morrison.
If the idea The Armorer and Boba Fett harshly judging contestants’ baked goods doesn’t sound like the perfect Disney+ show to you, wait until you hear the title that Swallow came up with. “The Great Boba Fett Bake Off.” The premise sells itself and we’re excited to see the pair eat some perfectly baked Star Wars-themed baked goods. Wookie Cookies. Bantha Brownies. Coruscant Croissants. Or even the dreaded Tatooine Tiramisu.
Sure, we probably shouldn’t be reporting on this while we’re hungry, but we still think the idea has legs. If Disney won’t release the legendary Star Wars Holiday Special, they should at least give us more casual shows to binge while we wait impatiently for The Acolyte to come out.
