Dive back into Middle-earth for more adventures.

There is evil stirring on Amazon Prime Video – at least, there is according to the trailer for The Rings of Power season two. In it, we get to see Sauron infiltrating the elves along with a whole host of easter eggs hidden within it. However, the biggest question fans have been wondering is when The Rings of Power season two will be released. Fortunately, we have the answer.

The second season of The Rings of Power will stream on August 29, 2024 on Amazon Prime, following up on season one which landed back in 2022. The teaser trailer for season two showed us that the show will be delving deep into the Tolkien mines to find stories from both The Silmarillion and The Unfinished Tales, both of which set the stage for The Lord of The Rings stories we know and love.

Between the Fall of Númenor, the creation of Barad-dûr, and the forging of both the Elven and Dwarven Rings, there is plenty for Tolkien fans to get stuck into. If you want to see how each of these details show up in such a short trailer, we’ve got a full breakdown of everything you might have missed in The Rings of Power season two trailer.

The Rings of Power season two will stream on August 29, 2024 on Amazon Prime Video and stars Morfydd Clark as Galadriel, Charlie Vickers as Sauron, and Robert Aramayo as Elrond. The first season is currently available to stream, giving you plenty of time to rewatch it before we dive back into Middle-earth once again.

Whether you're Shirefolk, Elven, Dwarven, or something else, there's a good reason to love Lord of the Rings. We do! With that in mind, we have a dragon's horde of goodies for you from a Lord of the Rings reading guide, a Lord of the Rings watch guide, details on the upcoming animated film Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim, a full the Lord of the Rings reunion panel you can watch, how the OG Hobbit actors stay in touch every day on a groupchat, and the true message of the Lord of the Rings film trilogy, according to Gimli himself - John Rhys-Davies.
