Part of the appeal of Peacock's reality competition series, The Traitors, rests not in the actual events of the competition, but in the cast members themselves. Oh, and that's beyond the sight of Alan Cumming serving it up as the host of the show, with a wardrobe of incredible outfits. Season 3 of The Traitors has brought together its most intriguing cast yet, and it's bound to be a season full of drama.
Season 3 of The Traitors will be released on Peacock on January 9, 2025. This season will feature the iconic Bob the Drag Queen, who won RuPaul's Drag Race season 8, alongside Nikki Garcia of WWE fame, a few alums of Survivor, and one Lord Ivar Mountbatten - British aristocrat. In case you need a refresher, King Charles III (formerly Prince Charles) of the UK is a member of the Mountbatten family, through his father Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Lord Ivar Mountbatten is a great-great-great-grandson of Queen Victoria and a descendant of the Russian poet, Alexander Pushkin. Mountbatten is also a geologist, how about that. We love a man whose hobby is rocks. Anyways, you can watch a teaser trailer for the show below.
Lord Ivar Mountbatten may have the most interesting Wikipedia page of everyone in season 3 of The Traitors, but it should also be stated that Sam Asghari, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, will be on the show as well. Do with that what you will.
Peacock's The Traitors is an American version of the popular British reality show of the same name and premise. The show assembles reality show stars (or in Lord Ivar Mountbatten's case, people whose "Early life and family" section on their Wikipedia page is full of blue links) get together in a castle to play a murder mystery game. Within the group, there are 3 contestants who are designated as "traitors," who seek to "murder" the other contestants, dubbed "the faithful." The faithful must try to determine who the traitors are in their group before it's too late.
Season 3 of The Traitors will begin streaming on Peacock on January 9, 2025.
