Harvey Guillén "would love" a Guillermo/Nandor spinoff after What We Do in the Shadows' finale

Speaking to a massive crowd at the What We Do in the Shadows panel at LA Comic Con 2024, Harvey Guillén said he'd absolutely continue his most "familiar" role in a different show

One of the saddest things about What We Do in the Shadows ending is that we'll get no more new adventures for leads (and frequently shipped characters) Guillermo and Nandor, played by Harvey Guillén and Kayvan Novak respectively. But if Guillén were to get his way, the vampire and familiar wouldn't have to part ways after all; at LA Comic Con 2024, the actor stated that he'd be interested in a Guillermo and Nandor spinoff.

Guillén spoke at LA Comic Con 2024's What We Do in the Shadows panel (hosted by former Popverse deputy editor Tiffany Babb) and fellow creature of the night Kristen Schaal. At one point in the panel, Guillén described his emotional moments recording his last lines as Guillermo, when Schaal hopped in.

"Don't you think there should be a Nandor and Guillermo spinoff?" she asked, eliciting a long, loud cheer from the massive crowd.

"I say that, too," continued Schaal, "because I know for sure they would do it."

"We would!" said Guillén excitedly, "We would love to."

Of course, Guillén is speaking for Kayvan here (in the best way), so it's technically not a "yes," from both actors, and it is in absolutely no way a greenlight from FX. But I think I can speak for all of us WWDITS fans when I say I'd watch the hell out of a Guillermo/Nandor spinoff, as well as a Nadja/Laszlo one, which Schaal also brought up to applause.

But then again, we'd have to ask: if there's going to be more Guillermo, Nandor, Nadja, and Laszlo, why wouldn't the be back... together?

The sixth and final season of What We Do in the Shadows debuts on FX (and streams next day on Hulu) October 21.
