What We Do in the Shadows star Kristen Schaal knows *exactly* which show FX's vampires should crossover with

A crossover is the only kind of crosses vampires can stand, actually, as What We Do in the Shadows' Guide Kristen Schaal explained to a packed room at LA Comic Con

The vampires of What We Do in the Shadows have been to some interesting places. A magical night market, a reality TV set, even a mystical place Matt Berry would call "NnyEw York Citaaeey." But for all the bopping around they've done, they've never made it onto a different show apart from their own. However, if Kristen Schaal, who plays the vampiric Guide, had her way, the vamps would absolutely be on the crossover train. She even has the perfect show picked out.

Schaal was at LA Comic Con this past weekend, along with fellow What We Do in the Shadows star Harvey Guillén. During their panel, a fan asked about what TV show the cast members could see their vampire comedy crossing over with, to which Schaal said "I guess we could go into any world." But there was one in particular that stuck her as particularly brilliant.

"The Bear would be pretty funny," she said, "Just being in a restaurant. I'd like to think that's a really good answer."

"Comedy with comedy!" quipped Guillén.

Admittedly, it would be pretty great to see the vampires in Carmen Berzatto's kitchen, especially since they are, above most other things terrifically lazy. But how exactly would they handle making human food? Or would the move force Carmy to start dealing in strictly blood-based cuisine.

Eh, I'd try it.

The final season of What We Do in the Shadows streams on Hulu October 22.
