A new season of The White Lotus means a new location and a new cast, and season 3 of the HBO comedy series is taking us to Thailand. Featuring an ensemble cast of Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jason Isaacs, Natasha Rothwell, Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, and pop superstar Lisa, we can only hope that season 3 of The White Lotus will yield some meme-worthy scenes on par with Jennifer Coolidge's from season 2.
So when does it all start? Season 3 of The White Lotus begins streaming on Max on February 16, 2025. A teaser trailer for the season has already dropped that includes a shot of Walton Goggins exhaling while taking a smoke, which is a mood. In contrast, Jason Isaacs can be seen walking nervously through a wooded area and then later running, suggesting that his character isn't having a particularly peaceful time in Thailand (I mean, are any of us having a particularly peaceful time right now?).
The White Lotus is an anthology series from HBO about wealthy tourists who stay at The White Lotus resorts around the world. Each season of the show has focused on a different White Lotus location: the first season was set in Hawai'i, while the second season took us to Sicily. The show is written and directed by Mike White, the guy who wrote School of Rock and appeared in the film as Jack Black's roommate. Creative range: we love to see it.
The first two seasons of The White Lotus are streaming now on Max. Considering that season 3 will not hit the streamer until mid-February, you've got plenty of time to see what kind of shenanigans the guests in Hawai'i and Sicily got up to. Happy travels!
