Being a teenager is a dramatic time, to say the least. You're trying to figure out who the heck you are while you're forced to navigate the social complexities of your peers and stay on top of your schoolwork. The first season of XO, Kitty brought all of this to life as Kitty Song Covey, the younger sister of Lara Jean from To All the Boys I've Loved Before, moved overseas to attend the Korean Independent School of Seoul.

Netflix has announced that season 2 of XO, Kitty will release on January 16, 2025. The streamer has also put out a trailer for the show, which reveals to us that this season will bring back a familiar face: Noah Centineo's Peter Kavinsky. The new season will take place during a new semester for Kitty at her school. You can check out the trailer below.

Originally, Kitty flew halfway around the world to attend school with the boy she thought was her boyfriend. But since discovering that he already had a girlfriend, her love life didn't get any simpler. Season 2 of XO, Kitty starts with her being single at the beginning of a new semester, giving her a valuable tabula rasa. In Seoul, Kitty has the chance to learn more about her mother and connect with her culture.

If you want to get caught up ahead of time, the first season of XO, Kitty is streaming on Netflix now, as well as the rest of the films in the To All The Boys universe.

XO, Kitty season 2 will release on Netflix on January 16, 2025.
